Moje will offer practice-based examples of such teaching drawn from her teaching and research in public secondary schools in Detroit, Michigan. In breakout sessions, Moje and her team will address questions about the realities of applying the work to each of the four core academic disciplines (ELA, mathematics, natural sciences, and social sciences) and in the real worlds of middle and high schools.
