questions, please email Brenda Conger at bconger@cfcsyndrome.org
What is included in the registration cost?
Conference registration fees cover:
 Thursday evening Welcome Reception
 Friday breakfast, lunch, and dinner
 Saturday breakfast, lunch and dinner
 Conference handouts
 All conference workshops and general sessions
 Individual consultations with members of the Medical Community who are experienced with CFC
syndrome – Meet an Expert/Researcher
 It is very important that you register for each meal you plan to eat at the conference so we will have an
accurate count. There is no extra charge for meals but with food costs of almost $25,000, this will help
us avoid having to unnecessarily pay for meals and ensure you are counted.
Workshop Sessions
On Friday and Saturday we offer a variety of informative workshops. Top clinicians and researchers will
present the latest information in an easy to understand format while allowing you plenty of time for in-depth
discussion. The small group format will allow you to delve with greater depth in to the areas that concern you
most, while offering one-on one communication with CFC specialists. Note: Some workshops are offered
multiple times so that you will not miss topics that are most important to you and all questions can be
addressed. You’ll find workshop descriptions and registration forms in the next pages.
Moms & Dad’s Nite Out
We have a conference tradition to provide one night for each parent to get together with other mothers and
fathers in the hotel. The relaxed and comfortable night club lounge setting gives parents a chance to chat and
make that connection with others who have walked in your shoes . Mom’s Nite Out is Wednesday and Dad’s
Nite Out is Thursday evening. No children allowed but feel free to invite your other family members and
friends who might be attending the conference with you.
What is the Saturday night Celebration Dinner?
Each Conference hosts a celebration dinner/banquet. The dinner includes the silent auction and a dance party.
All family members are invited to attend the dinner. Guests are also welcome to pay for their meal and attend.
The cost for each additional adult guest not registered for the conference is $38 and the cost for each
additional child guest ages 6-12 not registered for the conference is $19.
What kind of weather should we expect in Seattle in July?
Seattle is well known for its rain but it rains much less in July. You should expect Spring weather so be
prepared for warm days, cooler nights, with a possible light rain each day. The average high is 77 degrees
Fahrenheit and the average low is 57. Don't forget we will be indoors much of the day so pack a sweater for
the air conditioned meeting rooms.
What is proper attire?
Casual, comfortable attire is appropriate for the entire conference. Dressier attire is sometimes chosen, but
not required, for the Saturday evening dinner.
