ROSÉ ORPHISE Rosé issued from Noirs grape varieties Blending : 52% Pinot Meunier, 30% Pinot Noir, 18% of red wine make old vines of Pinot Meunier Wine from harvest : 2012 Reserve wine : 40% from 2011 Dosage : Brut 9,8 g/l Malo-lactic fermentation : complete Ageing period : 24 months Bottles : transparent, faceted bottle Disgorging : 5 months Combined with the historic blending of the House (70% Pinot Meunier, 30% Pinot Noir), the reserve red wine (12 to 17%) is issued from old vines legated by Gisèle Orphise, Martine’s mother. Their grapes, very sweet and strictly sane, give to Rosé Orphise a redcurrant appearance with strong aromas of red fruit (kirsch, blueberry). Notes of gingerbread and raisins prove its nice maturity. This is a virile and powerful wine that transcends the red wine chosen specifically for this blending. Its distinctive universe can accompany character cooking, pressed duck, sushis, haddock or some strong cheese. For experienced connoisseurs. CHAMPAGNE J.M.
