We will arrange housing and roommate assignments for you with Chicago Semester Housing at Canterbury Court Apartments in the Near North Side, a convenient 10-15 minute commute away from CS offices. Roommate assignments will be based on gender and length of internship stay. For more information about Canterbury Courts’ facilities, click here. What courses will I take? Summer program students must register for CSEM 305: Metropolitan Seminar- Diversity and Inequality (a Cross-Cultural Foundation Requirement) and the CSEM 400: Internship/Practicum Group Experience through Trinity Christian College (even if credit is not needed). The whole experience will grant you 9 credits. How often will I work? Depending on your desired internship's industry, you may work between 32-40 hours per week. How much does the program cost? Program costs include the $150 application fee, a $500 enrollment fee, summer tuition costs as determined by your home campus, and housing and food costs for the length of your internship. When is the program? The summer program curriculum will begin on Monday, May 16, 2016 and end on July 29, 2016, but some sites may ask to extend your internship to a later date.
