Venue Hire Prices 2015 - 2017 Venue Hire including weekends or Bank holidays 2015 £4,500 2016/7 £4,750 Venue Hire includes Exclusive use of The Out Barn, Clough Bottom, from 1pm on the day before your event until 2pm the day after your event, ideal for a farewell brunch Grounds and decking area for guests to relax in Grounds, designated farm areas (with agreement) and the farmhouse garden for photography Full state of the art multimedia system for background music and showing of pictures State of the art lighting including inside colour wash/mood lighting and outside lighting on the decking Hire of tables and chairs to seat up to 100 guests Hire of crockery, glassware, linen and cutlery for a three course wedding breakfast place setting for up to 100 guests Drinks package of Bucks Fizz or Pimms on arrival, Half of bottle of Red or White Wine per adult with main Wedding Breakfast and a glass of Fizz for toasts for up to 100 guests Cash Bar Table centerpieces Cake table and knife Easel for Table Plan display Wedding Planner who will also act as Master of Ceremonies if required All prices are inclusive of VAT at current rate Venue hire does not include Food and catering staff from either of our two approved caterers Optional Extras Clough Cottage for Wedding Weekend - £250 Hire of vintage tractors for photography Hire of British classic motor bikes for photography Hire of the field for additional space to possibly use for an outside band, bouncy castle, ice cream vans etc Landing for helicopter Use of the lawn for camping and outside access to toilet and shower facilities in the barn up to a maximum of 20 tents (£22.50 per tent per night) Bashall Eaves Nr Clitheroe Lancashire BB7 3JH Tel: 01254 826285 Email: info@cloughbottom.co.uk www.cloughbottom.co.uk Terms and Conditions The Parties referred to in this agreement shall be as follows:- The Out Barn at Clough Bottom T/A H & A J Backhouse (The Venue) The hirer of The Out Barn at Clough Bottom (The Hirer) Standard Conditions of Booking The Venue intends to rely upon the written terms set out here. The Hirer is asked to read the terms carefully before signing them. If the Hirer requires any changes please ensure these are put in writing prior to signing: in this way problems can be avoided. If the client is in any doubt or has any queries please do not hesitate to contact the Venue, otherwise please sign and return one copy of this form. Payments Deposits o A non-refundable deposit of 25% is payable on booking. To be returned within 7 days of the invoice date along with the signed booking form. The booking is only confirmed upon receipt of the signed booking form and deposit. o A refundable deposit of £500.00 is required against damages/breakages. This deposit is required to be paid along with your balance payment for the venue. This money will be returned to you within 30 days of your event subject to there being no damages or breakages. Balance o The balance is due 14 weeks before the hire start date. An invoice will be issued. o Should the balance not be sent, then it is assumed that the booking is cancelled and our Cancellation Policy is applicable. All payments should be made to H and AJ Backhouse. Payment of the non-refundable deposit and balance can be made by cheque, credit card or debit card (excluding AMEX) or Bank Transfer (Please note: 1.5% fee applied when paying by credit card) VAT VAT is included in the rental price. Period of Hire At the end of the hire term all personal effects, possessions and waste must be removed from the site. Marquees and other related services (where appropriate) must also be dismantled and removed from site by the end of the hire term, otherwise we reserve the right to charge a late departure fee. Catering It is a condition of booking that all catering requirements are carried out by one of our chosen caterers Cancellations In the event of cancellation, notification must be given in writing by the Hirer and confirmed in writing by the Venue. Cancellation charges of 100% of the hire fees are payable for cancellation within 14 weeks of the booking date. Cancellation charges of 50% of the hire fees is payable for cancellation of less than 26 weeks prior to the booking but more than 14 weeks. You may wish to consider taking out appropriate wedding insurance to cover any cancellation charges should they arise. Bashall Eaves Nr Clitheroe Lancashire BB7 3JH Tel: 01254 826285 Email: info@cloughbottom.co.uk www.cloughbottom.co.uk Management Right The management reserve the right to refuse entry to the building to any person(s) bringing alcohol, drugs or any illegal substances onto the premises The management reserve the right to ask to leave the premises any person(s) causing nuisance due to intoxication or aggression Care of the Property Bookings are accepted on the condition that all reasonable care is taken with the property and its contents. All property must be left in a clean and tidy condition, with any breakages reported. Damages Because the Venue has no control over the identity of the individuals whom the Hirer invites to their function, the Venue expects the Hirer to maintain a reasonable degree of control over those invited. The Venue will seek compensation from the Hirer or guest of the Hirer where any loss and/or damage is caused to the Venue by fault of the Hirer or their guests in respect of its belonging or any items which may hired or temporarily located on the property for any reason. Therefore a refundable deposit of £500.00 is required against such eventuality You may wish to consider taking out insurance against such damages/breakages. All waste should be disposed of accordingly, using our recycling facilities. All possessions, decorations, fixtures and fittings should be removed from the venue by the end of the hire term and all property left in same condition as found. Liability No liability is accepted for any loss, damage, sickness or injury, expense or inconvenience which may be suffered or arise out of, or in any way be connected with the rental. Clough Bottom is a working farm. It is important that you take care of yourself and especially any children and do not enter any of the barns, go near any machinery, animals or touch any equipment, electric fencing or materials in and around the farm. Control of Noise Levels Noise from any entertainment or music should be kept to a reasonable level and finish no later than 12 midnight. All guests must leave the venue by 12.30am. Please ensure your disco/band are aware that the maximum noise level and 90dBl. Please obtain a letter from them to confirm this. Control of Children Please ensure any children are supervised by a responsible adult at all times. It is not the responsibility of the Venue or its employees to make such provisions. Smoking and Fireworks In accordance with UK Law, The Out Barn is a non-smoking venue, this includes the use of ecigarettes. We ask that your guests use the designated smoking areas and use the bins for the disposal of cigarette ends. We regret that fireworks and Chinese lanterns are not permitted due to fire hazard implications. Orders via the Internet You should be aware that when you order goods and services over the internet as part of a contract, you are entering a legally binding contract. We want to ensure that you are totally satisfied with our handling of your event and any problems that might arise during the process. If you do not feel that your complaint has been handled satisfactorily, please contact us by letter or email, setting out the reasons for your dissatisfaction. We will make every effort to sort the matter out to everybody’s complete satisfaction as promptly as possible.
