The Ambrose base features a unit of hand lashed, coppered 4’’ conical springs and pocket springs, separated by a wool pad layer to provide insulation. Glued and screwed hard wood supports and solid wood sides give this Staples base extra strength, whilst padded upholstery of British wool fabric provides cushion comfort.
