Conduct a best-possible medication history and elicit information to identify medication-related problems. 2. Identify and manage potentially inappropriate medications. 3. Manage common drug interactions, geriatric syndromes and pain. 4. Interpret common laboratory tests. 5. Apply health behaviour change strategies to improve adherence to medications. 6. Establish a culture of good communication and collaboration across the continuum of care. This seminar will help you build on and apply your clinical skills in primary care. You’ll learn more advanced skills that complement your MMR accreditation training and bring them together to apply them to real life situations. After this seminar you will be able to apply knowledge and skills to complex patients with a patient-centred focus. This seminar is the perfect starting ground to prepare you for emerging pharmacists roles such as working in GP clinics, working in disease or specialty clinics.
