NCECA/ASU CERAMICS RESEARCH CENTER READING ROOM 2015
The NCECA/ASU Ceramics Research Center Reading Room is a new initiative that was created at the suggestion of Dr. Ezra Shales
of the Massachusetts College of Art and Design. The aim of the reading room is to provide as many recent catalogs, journals, monographs and other scholarly publications as possible for the NCECA membership at our annual conference. The Reading Room is
coordinated by Garth Johnson, Curator of Ceramics at the Arizona State University Museum Ceramics Research Center, which houses
one of the largest ceramic archives and collections in the United States. After the 2015 conference, these publications will be on view
in the reading lounge of the Ceramics Research Center in Tempe, Arizona.
It is our hope that you will use your contact with the Reading Room to acquaint you with recent publications so they can be ordered
for your benefit and that of your students. NCECA and ASU would like to thank the many volunteers and donors who made this
project possible, including the publishers who donated materials, Carol Hall, who purchased additional titles and Shiyuan Xu, The Ceramics Research Center’s tireless intern. If you would like to suggest publications or donate materials for next year’s Reading Room,
please contact Garth Johnson at garth.johnson@asu.edu.
