SCHOOL SPORT VICTORIA CASEY SOUTH DIVISION 2015 CROSS COUNTRY Date: Venue: Car Parking: Cost: Postponement: Age: Participants: First Aid: Footwear: Officials: Wednesday 3rd June Casey Fields. Casey Fields, Berwick Cranbourne Road, Cranbourne Melways Ref. Map 134 F8 Please park at Aths track or VFL Main Carparks, and walk towards the Playground area. $5:00 per competitor. Payable ONLY on the day of competition. Competitors will be asked to register at the Pavilion. A stamp will be placed on the competitor’s hand after payment- which will need to be seen before competing. The event will only be postponed in extreme cases. Children should bring a complete change of clothes if the weather looks adverse. Cross Country events are often run through wind, rain, water, mud and other wet and cold conditions. We do live in Melbourne after all! Calculated as at 31st December this year. Each District may enter up to 10 competitors. First Aid Staff will be in attendance on the day. Competitors are not permitted to wear spikes, football boots, hockey or other cleated shoes. Part of the course will be run on asphalt, so it is extremely important NO SPIKES are worn. All Districts are expected to provide 1 course supervisor (8.30am - 3.00pm) Casey South Division 10.30am-11.30pm Districts: Narre Warren, Hampton Park, Cranbourne South 10.30 am. Boys and Girls Age 12/13- 3km 10.50 am. Boys and Girls Age 11- 3km 11.10 am. Boys and Girls Age 9/10- 2km Boys and girls races will be run at the same time, however they will finish through separate gates. All AWD competitors will run in the 9/10 year old, 2km Race. PLACINGS & AWARDS: All participants will receive a certificate upon completion of the course. The first 3 place getters in each event will receive a ribbon. The first 10 place getters in each event will progress to the Southern Metro Region Cross Country. REGESRATION
