This is a tour that rock fans will just not want to miss!! Paris, London, Liverpool, Cambridge,
Birmingham, Cardiff, Manchester and Dublin. Eight great rock’n’roll heritage cities! From the
1960s to date, their combined rock roll-call is a ‘Hall of Fame’; The Beatles, Rolling Stones, Who,
Sex Pistols, Clash, Radiohead, Coldplay, Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, Oasis, Slade, The Smiths, Happy
Mondays. From Heavy Rock to House. You’re going to see the sites, hear the stories, enjoy the
legends, and party! You’ll also see stunning countryside, ancient castles and stately homes. This is
an ideal and unforgettable way for rock fans to see Britain!

Itinerary
Board your overnight flight
Day 1 –– Paris, France
Welcome to France. Upon arrival, a transfer will take you to your hotel. Tonight, get to know your
travelling companions with a welcome dinner. (D)
Day 2 –– Paris
Visit many of Paris’ famed sites today including the PERE LACHAISE CEMETERY, final resting place
of Jim Morrison. (B,D)
Day 3 –– Paris – London, England
Board the high-speed EUROSTAR TRAIN for an exciting ride to London. (B,D)
Day 4 – – London
Enjoy a WALKING TOUR of Soho, central London’s famed bohemian neighbourhood. See Paul
McCartney’s office and 60’s club sights like Marquee, Knuckles and Bag O’Nails. See where Lennon
met Ono, where Hendrix played his last gig and where Pete Townsend had his penthouse
apartment. (B)
Day 5 –– London
Today is at leisure to explore London on your own. Why not talk a walk across the Abbey Road
studios crossing? (B)
Day 6 –– London - Cambridge
Visit legendary rock photographer, Jill Furmanski’s studio then head to Cambridge where you will
have time at leisure to explore this medieval university city. (B)
Day 7 –– Cambridge – Birmingham
Some free time this morning before heading to Birmingham. Visit ST PAUL’S GALLERY which has
the world’s largest collection of album art. (B,D)
Day 8 –– Birmingham - Manchester
After breakfast, depart for Manchester – a city rich with rock history. (B)
Day 9 –– Manchester - Liverpool
A morning drive to Liverpool. This afternoon, we’ll visit the CASBAH CLUB, the cellar of original
drummer Pete Best. This tiny “club” has its original decoration still intact. (B)
Day 10– Liverpool
See Penny Lane, Strawberry Fields and many of the sites connected with the Beatles early years in
Liverpool and an inside visit to the LENNON and MCCARTNEY HOUSES, followed by a trip to the
BEATLES STORY MUSEUM. Tonight is at leisure, why not visit the Cavern Club? (B)
Day 11 –– Liverpool – Snowdonia - Caernarfon
Ferry across the Mersey and disembark in Birkenhead, before driving into North Wales and the
magnificent scenery of Snowdonia. The fact that Led Zepellin composed the wonderful Led
Zepellin III at the farmhouse retreat of “Bron y-Awr” gives us a great excuse to explore the
incredible scenery and 12th Century CASTLE of Snowdonia. (B,D)
Day 12 –– Caernarfon - Cardiff
We continue through breathtaking scenery of central Wales to Cardiff, where the remainder of
your day is at leisure. (B)
Day 13 –– Cardiff
Explore more of Cardiff today, home of Shirley Bassey, with a TOUR of the Millennium Stadium
which hosts rock concerts and is the iconic home of rugby. (B)
Day 14 –– Cardiff – Henley on Thames - London
We head back to London after breakfast today. RAGLAN CASTLE was used for Robert Plant’s
dream scene in “The Song Remains the Same”, so it gives us the ideal excuse to visit this fine ruin.
Then head to the remarkably pretty Henley on Thames – this has long been a favoured place of
the music fraternity. George Harrison’s Friary Park is here, Joe Brown is just one of the stars who
reside here and we’ll find Dusty Springfield’s grave the local CHURCHYARD. (B,D)
Day 15 –– City
Today is at leisure to do any last minute shopping. This evening, finish your tour with a FAREWELL
DINNER at the original Hard Rock Café and a special visit to its memorabilia vault. (B)
Day 16 –– City
Your tour ends after breakfast this morning with a transfer to the airport for your homebound
flight.
