THANK YOU There are several exiting changes on the way at your Art & Science Museum! The following contributions were received after February 26 and before March 17, 2015. Over the next couple of months, look for the emergence of our new logo. This logo was created to better represent what we uniquely offer: art, science, and their connections with each other—and with each of us. The words “ART” and “SCIENCE” are given more emphasis. The ampersand tying them together represents the merger of these disciplines with a combination of artistic brushstroke and smooth, careful lines. The logo is chameleon-like; it can fill either negative or positive space, and its colors can change, depending upon the context. Members who upgraded are noted below in bold—thank you! A redesigned and mobile-friendly website, reflecting our updated look, will be launched in June. The new website will serve as a resource for information on current and upcoming programming, exhibitions, The Museum Store, visitor information, and so much more. Also in the works is a blog to feature in-depth, original content on topics of interest that relate to our program offerings and the art and science connection that sets us apart. Meanwhile on the outside at the north end of the building, you will soon be able to enjoy a new public space perfect for taking a break or a picnic lunch, brought to you courtesy of the Downtown Development District. Visit us soon, online and in person, to enjoy and help us celebrate these exciting changes!
