“My Name is Barbra” Barbra Streisand Tribute Show
cabaret Celebrate Barbra Streisand’s birthday with this show written &
performed by renowned performer and character actress, Maureen Andrew,
chronicling the life of the diva herself. A very entertaining night of stories and
song drawn from Barbra’s varied and inspiring catalogue of work in The Grande
Hotel’s intimate underground Cabaret Club. Make a night of it with tapas, dinner
and bar service available for show-goers.

John Lethlean
John Lethlean has been The Australian’s restaurant critic and columnist since March 2010.
Prior to that, he was a restaurant critic with The Age, editor of The Age Good Food Guide
and Melbourne editor for Australian Gourmet Traveller.
John has focussed his journalism career solely on food since 1995. He is based in the
Daylesford Macedon region but, as the only restaurant critic in Australia with a national
brief, travels within the country extensively.
Roslyn Grundy
Roslyn Grundy has been writing about food for more than two decades and has not yet lost
her appetite. She edited The Age newspaper’s influential food and wine section Epicure
from 1994 to 1997, The Age Cheap Eats café guide in 2002 and 2003, and now edits
Victoria’s restaurant industry bible, The Age Good Food Guide.
Roslyn contributes regularly to Epicure, goodfood.com.au and Good Weekend, and has
edited several books on food, art and design.
John and Roslyn are both judges of The Lake House Food Writing Award.
Rafael Epstein
Rafael Epstein is a journalist who has worked in Sydney, Melbourne, Canberra, Timor, Indonesia, Europe and the Middle
East.
The winner of two Walkley Awards for his reporting, he has also covered national elections in the UK and Australia, East
Timor’s vote for independence in 1999, the 2000 Sydney Olympics, the 2004 Boxing Day Tsunami, the 2005 London
bombings, and the arrest of several high profile war crimes suspects in the Balkans.
Rafael currently hosts the Drive program on 774 ABC Melbourne. In his capacity as enthusiastic foodie, Raf will kindly
judge the Festival’s Breakfast Club specials.
