Infant Crisis Services: Moore Branch Opens on 7/10/13
Infant Crisis Services is opening a branch in Moore to better assist families affected by the May
tornadoes. The branch will be located inside Platt College at 201 North Eastern, in Moore, and will be
open every Wednesday beginning July 10, 2013, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Clients, ages birth to 48 months,
will receive formula, food, diapers, clothing and other baby essentials by appointment. Appointments
can be made by calling (405) 528-3663. Babies and toddlers must be present to receive services.
Goodwill: Tornado Relief - 2nd & 4th Saturdays Each Month
The Goodwill Tornado Relief Distribution Site at 1320 W. Reno in OKC will be open to tornado survivors
on the 2nd and 4th Saturday of each month beginning July 13 from 10am-3pm, no appointment
necessary. Recipients MUST present ID and a referral sheet from the Red Cross, FEMA, Catholic
Charities, Salvation Army, Goodwill or St. Vincent de Paul. Appointments for other times may be made
by emailing your contact info and desired appointment date/time to ssteffes@okgoodwill.org
CONSTRUCTION SERVICES
Serve Moore
Serve Moore is offering spiritual care and sending out volunteers to do minor construction. These

National Disaster Adoption
National Disaster Adoption offers services such as food/meals, clothing and some household items.

OKC Furniture Bank (10th Street Location): Used Furniture
This location is associated with the OKC Furniture Bank of Moore, but has a separate application process
and is not backed up like the main OKC Furniture Bank located in Moore. This location only has used
items, but it is still accepting applications. To apply, go to the following address between 9am-11:30am
on Wednesdays to fill out an application. They will then contact you to schedule an appointment to

While families are waiting for their homes to be restored, Sheds of Hope volunteers go to properties and
build permanent structures that the families will own in order to keep their belongings and to have free
storage. Survivors will permanently retain the shed. Survivors will receive a status update from Sheds of

U-Haul: Free Temporary Storage for 30 days

ShelterBox has been distributing high-quality tents to families in rural communities of Oklahoma, which
has provided families with a temporary shelter solution. The tents are 14ft x 14ft x 8 ft and can fit

assemble the tent within 1-2 days.

The Oklahoma Department of Veterans Affairs is teaming up with the American Legion, Veterans of
Foreign Wars, and Disabled America Veterans to provide assistance to veterans who were affected by
the tornadoes. Financial assistance grants will be expedited for affected veterans. For more information
