Our Place, a program of E4C is looking for skilled Full Time Support Worker Hours: This position is Monday-Friday 3pm-11pm. Staff is required to work Statutory holidays if it falls on your regular scheduled shift. Details: The Support Worker at Our Place is responsible for ensuring the overall safety and care of the residents during their shift. The Support Worker is part of the service team at Our Place and reports to the Program Manager. Remuneration: Starting: $16.42 per hour. Why be a part of the E4C team? Provide appropriate support to residential clients and satellite house residents. Maintain case records and other necessary documentation. Provide referrals to residents. Encourage and supervise the residents in their daily chores and household tasks, and to model appropriate living skills. Monitor and record client medications. Ensure the safety and security of the clients and the facility at all times. A successful candidate would require: Some post-secondary training in a human service field OR 1-2 years of related work experience Knowledge of homelessness, mental health, and addictions would be an asset. Good interpersonal skills, empathetic, and enthusiastic team player Possesses the ability to work with initiative and independence Aptitude and skill in computer use Must have Medication Administration, Food Safety Course Must provide Police Information Check.
