86th Annual Conference
Virginia Beach Resort Hotel & Conference Center
2800 Shore Drive, Virginia Beach, VA 23451
April 12th– April 14th, 2015
The Mission of the Virginia Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics
Empower members to be Virginia’s food and nutrition leaders.
The Tidewater Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics invites you to attend the 86st Annual Meeting of VAND. Enjoy
all that the bay and oceanfront have to offer during your stay with us - the many fine seafood restaurants,
beaches, boardwalk and local sights - and explore First Landing State Park nearby. The safe and well-traveled
trail begins behind the stores across the street from the hotel and continues for miles! For more information on
all that is available to you during your stay, please visit http://www.vbfun.com. Be sure to bring your thirst for
knowledge, desire to reconnect with friends, walking shoes and a good appetite. Plan to come early
or stay after —same great conference rate!
The goals of the 2015 VAND Annual Meeting are to provide:
 opportunities for member networking
 continuing professional education on food, nutrition and environmental topics
 policy and legislative advocacy updates
 recognition of our leaders and award recipients
CONTINUING A GREAT IDEA THIS YEAR...
The VAND Annual Meeting is going GREENER this year!
All handouts will be available online and ONLY ONLINE. There will be no handouts at the conference.
To print handouts prior to the meeting go to www.eatrightvirginia.org.
Water will be provided in all meetings. Please use recycle containers for plastic cups and paper.
Thanks again to The Southeastern United Dairy Association, Inc. (SUDIA) for providing
the very nice reusable shopping bags. Use often!
During the 86th Annual Meeting we will be accepting donations of
