Print form at http://www.sapres.org/about/job-openings/ CLOSING DATE: April 30, 2015 or Until Filled SUMMARY: The Database Administrator manages the “mySAPRES” church community database and provides additional IT hardware and software support for staff, as needed. ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Management of the mySAPRES hosted database solution: SME for the mySAPRES church community database. Configuration and maintenance of the database system. Communication of policies and updates to staff. Provide support to staff in functionality and best-practices. Manage database integrity—reconciling duplicates, acquiring missing information. Manage data integrity volunteer(s). IT Support: Provide back-up support for IT equipment and software for staff. Assist in aspects of IT resource administration, as needed. QUALIFICATIONS: Must be an active member of a Christian church. Demonstrates strong interpersonal skills. Ability to build rapport and credibility with others. Excellent verbal and written communication. Strong systems and process-oriented thinker. Creative and proactive problem solver. Eager to learn and develop new skills. Patience and capacity to train others. Strong attention to detail. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Bachelor’s degree required—related degree preferred. Strong computer skills and experience required. Familiarity with both PC and Mac platforms Strong understanding of Windows, Office applications (especially Excel). 2-4 year of experience working with web-based, SaaS applications. Previous experience with database applications and maintenance.
