RAISING AWARENESS AND SECURING SPONSORSHIP The most important point to remember when securing sponsorships is that raising awareness about modern slavery and the ways we can all fight it is your most important task! I’ve made a pledge to switch from my usual brand of (coffee/tea/chocolate/etc.) to a Fairtrade alternative to raise funds for the Salvation Army Freedom Partnership. They’re helping to bring an end to modern slavery and with your help together we could bring them closer to achieving their goal. Why should I donate? Approximately 35.8 million people are experiencing slavery across the world. In Australia, there are approximately 3,000 people being held against their will. By sponsoring me, you are supporting Fairtrade, who fund ethical labour internationally and the Salvation Army Freedom Partnership who help support domestic victims. How can I donate?
