THE ROC DE FER PISTE WELCOMES YOU
While the biggest champions are currently competing in Beaver Creek (USA), Méribel is preparing itself to welcome the Alpine Ski World Cup Finals.
For the first time ever in France, the planet’s best skiers from all disciplines are coming head to head on the Savoyard resort’s slopes, hurtling
down the legendary Roc de Fer piste during the Alpine Ski World Cup Finals from the 18th – 22nd March.
From the 24th – 27th March 2015, Méribel’s ESF (French Ski School) is offering to prolong the Roc de Fer Experience by inviting you to ski down the
legendary Olympic slope in the shoes of a Downhill Champion.
A LEGENDARY SLOPE
Ever since the Albertville Olympic Games in 1992, the Roc de Fer piste has gone
down in history! 23 years later, the time has come to bring it back to life!
The main stage for the World Cup Finals, the Roc de Fer piste, will show off a new
look with snow canons, landscaping and restructuring, and to finish, a completely
new electronic timing system.

At the end of the Alpine Ski World Cup Finals, Méribel’s ESF (French Ski School) will offer a few lucky people a unique experience; to ski in the
footsteps of the biggest champions from the discipline! From the 24th – 27th March, step into the shoes of a Downhill World Cup Finalist on the official
slope of the 2015 finals!
For 3 days, the resort invites you to come and get electronically timed and feel like one of the biggest ski champions on a piste of more
than 2.5km, and of 700m difference in altitude, run by a team of at least 15 professionals of the French Ski School.
In order to be able to master this piste, push yourself to the limits and achieve your best time, participants will benefit from the advice of an old
champion from the discipline: Antoine DENERIAZ, Downhill Gold Medalist at the 2006 Turn Olympic Games.
ESF OFFER « ROC DE FER EXPERIENCE »
From the 24th – 27th March – 10 to 15 people, electronically timed, can ski with the advice of the Champion Antoine DENERIAZ. From 4650€ per
person. (Instructor and ski hire included.)
