The invitation contains information about the event. Swedish Taido Association (STA) reserves the right to make small changes. The information presented in this document is to aid you when planning your trip to Sweden. The Swedish Taido Association would like you to inform your National Taido Association and all its members about this event that will be held August 3 - 9, 2015 at TanumStrand Resort, Sweden. The event will have additional activities (e.g. indoor playground for children, live music and much more) that are suitable for Taidokas, families and friends. Separate application form for the event will be available on the official website for the event. The siterelease will soon be announced through the media for the ETC2015 and to the National Taido Organizations. Preliminary dates for application are from 2015-04-01 until 2015-05-01. Any changes will be informed to the National Taido Organizations the affected players belong to. Qualification • Players have to be members of a National Taido Organization belonging to the World Taido Federation • Participants of the European Taido Championship (ETC) are not allowed to participate in the International Taido Friendship Games (ITFG) Dantai Regulation and Substitution • The general rule is that one team consists of members from one country. Teams with members from more than one country are allowed • The general rule is that one team should consist of 5 players in the Dantai disciplines. However, if a player is not able to participate due to injury or similar and no substitution is available, the match for the absent player will be counted as a "default loss" and the team can participate in the event with four (4) players Only for team events might a player be replaced, if the below conditions are fulfilled. • Only if a player has to cancel participation due to illness or injury or similar reasons, the substitute that has been registered might replace the player as from the next match. (One substitute per team can be registered. No competition fee is necessary) • Before any replacement the replacement has to be reported to and approved by the competition head office • If a player has been replaced, even if the player recovers from their illness or injury, they will not be able to take part in the same event again • If a player is stopped from participating by a physician, they will not be allowed to participate in any competition event what so ever Jissen Policies and Regulations egulations for the ITFG2015 FG2015 • Men are required to wear a jockstrap and are allowed to wear the specified chest protection • Women and juniors are allowed to wear the specified chest protection and the specified face protection respectively • Any player choosing not to wear protection takes full responsibility of this decision. Qualification • All players must be citizens of the nation they are representing in the Championship • Players have to be members of a National Taido Organization belonging to the World Taido Federation • All players should at least have the rank of 2kyu • Players in Jissen should turn 18 years of age the year of the event • Players in Hokei and Tenkai should turn 16 years of age the year of the event The National Taido Organization can apply for exemptions to belt rank or age with a Letter of Recommendation, which should be sent via email to the Swedish Taido Association before entry time ends. All applications will be documented and gone-through with WTF. Judges for the ETC are selected from those by the organizer together with WTF. Insurance Each participating individual is responsible for having the appropriate level of insurance for travelling abroad, injuries, accidents, etc.
