1. MOBILE FOLDING UNIT - FOLDA CABIN
In third quarter of 2014, we conceived an idea to provide solution in the challenges faced in the storage of
temporary buildings. This led us to form an alliance with one of the biggest and most reliable manufacturers of
Movable & Prefabricated Buildings.
With 80 years on the job and a factory area exceeding 4.8 hectares of land with over 23,000m2 under roof and

an additional assembly plant of approximately 2000m , our partners have built up a solid reputation of quality,
service and backup and its buildings boast some of the longest proven lifespan in the prefabricated building
industry. The longest recorded being in excess of 50 years!
A. OVERVIEW
Our Folding Mobile Unit has a floor area of 14.4m² and consists of a base with exactly the same dimensions
as a 20 ft container. In its folded state the unit measures 570mm in height, these units can be stacked to a
maximum of 5 units on top of each other for transport or storage purposes. The unit has a roof structure
that acts as a cover in its folded state this is the only loose component on the unit, all other movable
sections are hinged or fastened to the unit by other means. A crane or other lifting device is required for
erection of these units; approximate weight is 1.7 ton per unit. The use of high quality materials ensures
excellent durability with little or no maintenance.

B. BASE FRAME AND FLOOR
* The base frame or chassis is a robust welded steel frame, which can withstand the stresses and strains of
transportation and placement on site. A high quality anti corrosive primer and paint is applied to the base
frame. The four corners of the base frame have container blocks welded into it, this in conjunction with the
container blocks in the roof structure allow for stacking of the units on top of each other.
* The floor consists of 18mm “Bisondura” with a “Durafoil” layer which acts as a moisture barrier and
insulation. The floor is covered with 1,85mm heavy duty vinyl floor sheeting with sealed joints.
Optional board types are also available but at an additional cost.
C. WALLS
The wall panels consist of a 60mm polystyrene core with 0,6mm chromadek skin bonded to both sides. The
edges of each panel have a patented locking system giving a weatherproof flush joint between the wall
panels.
Other advantages of this system area:
* The chromadek skin is supported over the whole area, giving an extremely strong panel with a solid feel.
* The 60mm thick polystyrene core has insulation properties superior to a 230mm brick wall, is fire
retardant (quality 16FR) and does not give off poisonous gases in the case of a severe fire, as is the case
with some polyurethane insulating materials. U-value = 0,6 W/M² ºC.
* No condensation problems as occur in cavity wall constructions.
* All electrical wiring is concealed in the core of one wall panel.
* All wall panels are hinged to the steel base section via a heavy duty industrial piano hinge
* An additional internal partitioning wall may be installed into the unit. Should this be required a second
external door is also fitted. The partitioning wall is also hinged within the roof structure allowing the user to
divide the unit into two offices or leaving it as one. The partition panel consists of a 20mm polystyrene core
with 0.6mm chromadek skin bonded to both sides. The partition is supplied with adjustable rubber edges to
ensure a tight seal against the exterior wall panels
D. ROOF AND CEILING
* The same panel system as for the walls are used for the roof and ceiling with the exception that 0,6mm
galvanized sheet is used outside and chromadek inside.
* Joints between the roof panels are waterproofed by the application of a fiberglass strip fixed with
adhesive to the supplier's specification.
* The insulation value of the roof and ceiling panel is the same as for the walls.
* The roof structure also consists of a steel apron which acts as a cover for the folding unit when in storage
or being transported. The corners of the steel apron are reinforced to enable the stacking of units on one
another. The four corners of the roof structure have container blocks welded into it, this in conjunction with
the container blocks in the base frame allow for stacking of the units on top of each other using cones or
locking device as used in the container industry.
E. DOORS
* 40mm Polystyrene core construction with chromadek exterior skin folded around all edges. The interior
skin is 4mm Masonite “Timbawall” decorative board.
* Frame Rebated galvanized 1,2mm thick with 3 galvanized sinkless hinges.
* Lock Cylinder lock with 2 keys per lock.

2. DEMOUNTABLE- Flatpack
The standard container for various purposes is suitable for international container transport. It is of
appropriate external dimensions and has connections for lifting and fixing or compounding. The container is
designed as a light construction consisting of floor and roof frames and corner profiles. The construction
enables compounding of individual containers in longitudinal and transverse directions without limits. It
also enables compounding of containers in 2 floors in height (ground floor + first floor), or 3 floors in height
(ground floor + 2 floors). The wainscots of the container are made of light insulation panels and offer
pleasant climate in the interior due to their building and physical properties. Used materials are
environmental friendly. Containers can be delivered assembled or individually – in packages 648mm high.
Packages of 4 kits each 2591mm high.

3. FOLDABLE HOUSE
This system presents a new concept in prefabricated houses and portacabins: Fold-down, diversity, modular,
ecological, easy to transport and environment friendly. Based on a steel structure, the design introduces an
innovative, affordable to traditional prefabricated houses and porta cabins.
All models are based on a basic module of 16-18 M2 (Typical unit for labor). These basic modules when
combined in series and in parallel arrangements will lead to any required model whether for labor, junior
staff, senior and management staff, canteens, kitchens and of areas ranging from 16 M2 up to 3000 M2 and
even higher , if required, and totally sound- proof, dust free, thermally insulated, fire resistant and highly
comfortable.
When folded, the folded width will vary between 83 cm. for the single labor unit up to 2.0/2.4 M for the
Senior/Management units. It is for this reason, the folding system facilitates the transportation of several
units with standard transports without need to depend upon special transports, and that means Great
Saving - Costs.
Moving the units to its site is extremely easy, no special transportation facilities being required. Thanks to
its design, the structure folds down onto a fixed module, ready for transporting on an ordinary trailer on
where up to ( 9 ) standard units can be transported one trailer. Also, the ground where the houses are to
be erected does not need a concrete base; it just has to be compacted to the specified level. A system of
adjustable supports will overcome any unevenness in the ground if necessary.

All the assembly and dismantling operations are extremely simple,
no special tools or personnel are necessary. Time required for such
operation is about 15-25 minutes.
