You will learn hollow and solid sculptural techniques using borosilicate glass. Three flower techniques, as well as creating stems and leaves are covered. Prepping color and using tools such as, shears, reamers, razor blade, knife, punty and leaf press are also covered. Demo with lecture to start, then followed by hands on practice time. We sell glass art from beautiful handmade glass beads, pendants, blown glass to sculptures and jewelry. We sell glassblowing supplies such as glass rod and tubing, tools, torches, books and videos. We also have a state of the art glass blowing facility, offering workshops from beginner to advanced skill levels. Workshops Must be at least 18 years of age to attend lampwork classes at FlameTree Glass, Inc. No one under the influence of drugs or alcohol will be allowed to attend class. All glass, tools, kilns, torches and eyewear are included in the price of the workshops unless specified. Please be sure to read over our cancellation policies and procedures before you sign up. Workshop Cancellation Policy If it becomes necessary for FlameTree Glass to cancel a workshop for any reason, a full refund will be given or store credit, which includes classes or merchandise. All withdrawals from workshops must be in writing, faxed or emailed. A refund or store credit will be offered if notice of withdrawal is given 30 days prior to commencement of workshop. A $25.00 withdrawal fee will apply. There will be 50% refund given to withdrawals with less than a 30 days notice, due to our financial obligations to our instructors. All cancellations will be refunded as checks. If it becomes necessary for FlameTree Glass to post- pone a workshop due to inclement weather or other reasons deemed legitimate, you will be notified of the rescheduling or if unable to attend a full refund will be given. We are not responsible for non-refundable tickets including transportation and lodging or any other expenses in the event of a cancelled or rescheduled workshop.
