The event will include:
 Presentation of the project and key findings of the Flatland experimental
installation (March 2015). This large-scale, pitch-black installation used haptic
technology – the science of communicating by touch – to guide 100 participants
through an immersive world of sensation and sound.
 Live demo of the Flatland haptic navigation tech.
 Panel discussion with the project design team and consultants.
We will also be opening up the debate inspired by Flatland around alternative access
within art and cultural environments, by posing key questions for discussion with the
event audience.
