FUNERAL
PRINT SERVICE
Things to consider for the Funeral Stationery
At this difficult time there are many things to consider… and things can feel quite overwhelming. When compiling the
funeral stationary Order of Service, here are a few pointers as to what is included:
Front Cover
This needs to keep your loved one looking at their best as this is probably one of the last services you will carry out, the image
you choose is very important and we advise to use a current photo of the deceased. Usually the name, birth and final dates are
on the cover. The address of the service can be added to the front along with the date and time of the funeral.
Inside Pages
Depending on your content you may choose between 4 and16 pages these could include.
The order of the service
The order of what will happen at the memorial, including hymns, tributes, poems.
Photos, some families choose to have photos showing the deceased life in pictures. This can be in double page spread or
scattered around the order of service. You have 7 photos that are included in the price and then additional photos are
charged at only £15.00 per photo.
Hymns & Prayers
The hymns that you would like included in the service, these words would appear in the order of service for guests to join in.
Eulogy
A eulogy is a speech about your loved one. This speech is usually given during the memorial or funeral ceremony. While it is
often given by a close friend or relative of the deceased, it can also be given by a religious leader. giving a Eulogy is a simple
conversation about the person who has died.
Here are some things you may want to talk about:

=
=
a brief “life history” of the person who has died
important achievements and events in the deceased's life
details about family, friends, work, and hobbies
favourite memories of the deceased
most eulogies last between 5 and 15 minutes but there are no hard and fast rules here.
Back Page
Used for saying thank you to your friends and family. Some families add the details of the Wake or where they are having
Refreshments.
