Train with an industry professional to learn the entry level skills for the Information Technology (IT)
sector and begin working as a computer support specialists or IT Help Desk worker.
Prepare to pass A+CompTIA professional certification exams necessary for career advancement.
Learn to answer questions or resolve computer problems in person, via telephone or electronically. Train
to help users of computer hardware or software including printing, installation, word processing, electronic mail and operating systems. Customer Service Communication training and team-building activities round out the training. Some previous work-related experience or knowledge preferred.
10-week training program also includes intensive Career Navigation coaching, followed by internship
placement and job development assistance through ACE New Haven.
