What is the Great British Beer Festival?
The Great British Beer Festival (GBBF) is Britain’s largest beer
festival and welcomes over 50,000 visitors. Now in it’s 38th
year, it has built a strong reputation within the industry and
general public for bringing the best beer that the UK, Europe
and rest of the world has to offer.
The festival brings together over 900 real ales ranging from
microbreweries to the most well known British brands,
including hundreds of bottled and foreign beers, and a
selection of real ciders and perries.
The GBBF offers visitors the opportunity to enjoy the full pub
experience with games, quizzes, live entertainment and a
selection of delightful cuisines to enjoy in a fun and unique
environment.

Festival Features
Hat Day tradition will continue on the Thursday of the festival where
visitors will bring along their creative and crazy hats. Photographers
will be out and about ready to capture them and reward the best.
A number of Tutored Tastings will take place throughout the festival
including food pairing sessions.
The festival will announce the Champion Beer of Britain on the
Tuesday when the final round of judging takes place. The panel
includes CAMRA tasting members, beer writers, brewers and the
occasional celebrity beer drinker.
We will welcome a number of Brewery Bars who will brand and host
their own bar. Last year we saw Fuller’s, Greene King and Wells and
Young’s return plus we welcomed Wadworth for the first time.
Festival Features
No festival is complete without Entertainment. GBBF will continue
to provide a musical line-up worthy of any summer festival.
As always there will be a large variety of Food and Merchandise at
the festival including traditional British foods.
Corporate Hospitality allows our corporate guests to network, teambuild and socialise, all which are vital for a successful company.
Trade Session will take place on the Tuesday and is reserved for
members of the pub trade industry including pub landlords ,their
staff and brewers from across the country. The session provides the
opportunity for all sectors of the trade to come together, to meet
and network with other trade members, as well as to sample some
of the finest beers in the UK.

Regional Bar Banners Sponsorship
By sponsoring the festival’s bar banners, your branding will be on all of
the eleven regional bars and will be seen by all visitors. Having
your logo on all banners means you will be associated with some of
the best beers around. Banners are approx 2m(h) x 10m(l)
Sponsorship includes;
• Branding on each of the banners, artwork size agreed between
sponsor and CAMRA
• A page on the GBBF website which received 758,473 visits between
March- September 2014 with 192,685 of them being unique
• Listing on the sponsorship page of the GBBF programme
• A 3x3meter stand during the trade session in the trade area “Pillar
Hall”

Glass sponsor
SPONSORSHIP CONFIRMED
In sponsoring the official festival glasses, your logo will be at the forefront of visitors’ and
exhibitors’ eyes and minds both during the festival and after it has finished, as the majority
of visitors take their glass as a souvenir. Glasses offer big exposure and are often
photographed by the press and used in the media. Glasses will be available in full pint, half
pint and third pint measurements.
Bag Sponsor
£6,000 plus vat
Handed out to each visitor as they leave the festival with their souvenir glass, as sponsor of
the festival bags, your logo will feature on one full side. This sponsorship includes prepacking one A5 insert in to each bag.
Volunteer T-shirts

Worn by the thousand volunteers who help to organise the festival, your branding would
be associated with the large team of people that help to make the festival a success.
Whilst these are worn by the majority of volunteers, it is important to highlight that it is
not compulsory for them to wear these and most will wear them on days 1 and
2. Volunteers are supplied with one t-shirt each.
Programme

Be one of the first brands that visitors see as they consult their guide to the festival. This
includes branding on the cover of the programme and one page within the programme.
Around 25,000 programmes are distributed to visitors which contain the floor-plan and
tasting notes for the festival.
Sponsorship Opportunities
Brewery Bar
Host your very own bar at the festival and ensure that festival visitors receive the
best beer experience in sampling your brands and talking to your own brewery staff.
If you are interested but need assistance in staffing your bar please contact us. Bar
size is typically 3.5m wide x 2m deep.

Website sponsorship offers you the opportunity to have a highly visible banner running
across website pages with links to your website and opportunity to promote your
brand. The website received 758,473 visits between March- September 2014 with
192,685 of them being unique, so website sponsorship assures you of very high
visibility with a highly target audience of beer lovers.
Seating Area
From £2,625 plus vat
Ensure that visitors find out more about your brand by sponsoring your own seating
area. This allows you to theme the area and to convey some of your key brand
messages to visitors. Previous sponsored areas have featured a beach and orchard
garden. Seating areas are typically 10m x 7m. This option can be added on to a
Brewery Bar package at a special rate.
Trade Session
£2,400 plus vat
Taking place on the Tuesday, the Trade Session receives 6,000 industry members
including landlords, pub staff and breweries from across the county. By sponsoring this
session, you will have the opportunity to target and further raise awareness of
yourselves to this very specific and relevant audience.

Featuring world famous beers, sponsor this bar, and reach the diverse audience looking
to sample beers from the Czech Republic and Germany. Sponsorship includes branding
on and around the bar.
Belgian, Dutch, Italian Bar
£890 plus vat
Sponsor this bar featuring the diverse range of beers that Belgium, Italy and The
Netherlands have to offer. Sponsorship includes branding on the large overhead banner
and around the bar.
American Cask Ale Bar
£890 plus vat
Sponsor this popular bar and target the audience looking to branch out and try beers
from USA. Sponsorship includes branding on and around the bar.
American Bottles Rest of the World Bar
£890 plus vat
The Rest of the World Bar will be full of the most exciting beers from around the
world, including a selection from Australia, New Zealand and Japan. Sponsorship
includes branding on and around the bar.
Tickets
£2,500 plus vat
By sponsoring the festival tickets, you will have your name and logo on all of the
50,000 tickets issued alongside important information such as venue and
opening times. Around 30,000 tickets are purchased in advance meaning that visitors
will be aware of your presence at the festival before they even enter the venue. Tickets
go on sale to members of the public in May 2014.

You will have your branding on the press release , opportunity to act as a judge on the
panel and to stock the winning beer.
Regional Bar Banners
£4,200 plus vat (not available to breweries)
GBBF will have a number of regional bars spread around the festival which will feature
Britain’s best beers. Your branding would feature on all of the bars with the
opportunity to include a web-link. Having your logo on all regional bar banners would
allow you to be associated with some of the best beers around. Banners are approx 2 x
10m.
Cider and Perry Bar
£890 plus vat
Offering a wide range of cider and perry, sponsor this bar and reach the audience
looking to sample these traditional British drinks. Sponsorship includes branding on
and around the bar.
Tutored Tastings
£4,000 plus vat
Our tutored tastings offer visitors the opportunity to sample and learn about Britain’s
greatest real ales with the best beer experts around. Sponsorship includes branding on
tasting tickets, in the tasting room and the opportunity to introduce sessions.

£2,000 plus vat
GBBF Corporate Hospitality packages offer a great opportunity for businesses to
treat their hardworking staff or entertain clients. Sponsorship includes branding
on relevant promotional material and around the area.
Entertainment

Featuring live acts throughout the week, your brand would be on display to the
large and mixed audience enjoying the performances. Opportunity to perform
