The Great British Beer Festival (GBBF) is Britain’s largest beer festival and welcomes over 50,000 visitors. Now in it’s 38th year, it has built a strong reputation within the industry and general public for bringing the best beer that the UK, Europe and rest of the world has to offer. The festival brings together over 900 real ales ranging from microbreweries to the most well known British brands, including hundreds of bottled and foreign beers, and a selection of real ciders and perries. The GBBF offers visitors the opportunity to enjoy the full pub experience with games, quizzes, live entertainment and a selection of delightful cuisines to enjoy in a fun and unique environment. 2014 Festival Audience Over 48,000 festival goers attended 63% Non CAMRA Members and 37% CAMRA Members 80% male and 20% female 70% ABC1 32% under the age of 30 60% from London and Home Counties 98% of visitors said they tried a beer unfamiliar to them 60% said they will have tried a beer from one of the brewery bars Festival Features Hat Day tradition will continue on the Thursday of the festival where visitors will bring along their creative and crazy hats. Photographers will be out and about ready to capture them and reward the best. A number of Tutored Tastings will take place throughout the festival including food pairing sessions. The festival will announce the Champion Beer of Britain on the Tuesday when the final round of judging takes place. The panel includes CAMRA tasting members, beer writers, brewers and the occasional celebrity beer drinker. We will welcome a number of Brewery Bars who will brand and host their own bar. Last year we saw Fuller’s, Greene King and Wells and Young’s return plus we welcomed Wadworth for the first time. Festival Features No festival is complete without Entertainment. GBBF will continue to provide a musical line-up worthy of any summer festival. As always there will be a large variety of Food and Merchandise at the festival including traditional British foods. Corporate Hospitality allows our corporate guests to network, teambuild and socialise, all which are vital for a successful company. Trade Session will take place on the Tuesday and is reserved for members of the pub trade industry including pub landlords ,their staff and brewers from across the country. The session provides the opportunity for all sectors of the trade to come together, to meet and network with other trade members, as well as to sample some of the finest beers in the UK. Glasses offer big exposure and are often photographed by the press and used in the media. Glasses will be available in full pint, half pint and third pint measurements. Bag Sponsor £6,000 plus vat Handed out to each visitor as they leave the festival with their souvenir glass, as sponsor of the festival bags, your logo will feature on one full side. Volunteer T-shirts SPONSORSHIP CONFIRMED Worn by the thousand volunteers who help to organise the festival, your branding would be associated with the large team of people that help to make the festival a success. Whilst these are worn by the majority of volunteers, it is important to highlight that it is not compulsory for them to wear these and most will wear them on days 1 and 2. Seating Area From £2,625 plus vat Ensure that visitors find out more about your brand by sponsoring your own seating area. This allows you to theme the area and to convey some of your key brand messages to visitors. Previous sponsored areas have featured a beach and orchard garden. Seating areas are typically 10m x 7m. This option can be added on to a Brewery Bar package at a special rate. Trade Session £2,400 plus vat Taking place on the Tuesday, the Trade Session receives 6,000 industry members including landlords, pub staff and breweries from across the county. By sponsoring this session, you will have the opportunity to target and further raise awareness of yourselves to this very specific and relevant audience. American Bottles Rest of the World Bar £890 plus vat The Rest of the World Bar will be full of the most exciting beers from around the world, including a selection from Australia, New Zealand and Japan. Tickets £2,500 plus vat By sponsoring the festival tickets, you will have your name and logo on all of the 50,000 tickets issued alongside important information such as venue and opening times. Around 30,000 tickets are purchased in advance meaning that visitors will be aware of your presence at the festival before they even enter the venue.
