State Classical Academy in Peredelkino
The Competition Programme (one round):
1. One piece by one of the following composers: F. Sor, M. Giuliani, L. Legnani,
D. Aguado, A. Diabelli
2. One piece by J.S. Bach or S.L. Weisse
3. One piece chosen by the contestant.
The total playing time is 20 minutes (maximum)
Prizes:
Grand Prix: guitar by Brahman ($ 5000)
Famous guitar builder Brahman (South Korea) presents a guitar to the 2nd
International Сompetition of Maimonides State Classical Academy
1st prize: 50 000 Russian rubles (around 1000 euros)
2nd prize: 30 000 Russian rubles (around 600 euros)
3rd prize: 20 000 Russian rubles (around 400 euros)
Special prize: 10 000 Russian rubles (around 200 euros) for the best performance of
pieces by F. Sor, M. Giuliani, L. Legnani, D. Aguado or A. Diabelli

Schedule:
27 April 2015 – arrival of all participants, 28, 29, 30 of April – competition auditions,
1 May – departure of the participants.
The Competition-festival will feature master classes and concerts by Reinbert Evers
(Germany), Štěpán Rak (the Czech Republic), Daikun Chan (South Korea), Dimitris
Regginos (Cyprus), Rovshan Mamedkuliev (Russia), Asya Seloutina (Russia),
Evgeni Finkelstein (Russia).
Concert Programme:
27 April – Nikita Koshkin’s recital. Koshkin guitar duo – Asya Seloutina (Russia),
Olga Kamornik (Russia – Germany). Maimonides State Classical Academy Guitar
Orchestra. Art Director of the orchestra and conductor – Nikita Koshkin.
28 April – Dimitris Regginos (Cyprus), Daikun Chan (South Korea), Reinbert Evers
(Germany), Rovshan Mamedkuliev (Russia)
29 April – duet: Mikhail Kornishin and Viktoriya Naletova (Russia); Evgeni
Finkelshtein (Russia), Štěpán Rak (the Czech Republic)
30 April – concert of the prizewinners of competition and master classes of the
members of jury
Competition audition and festival concerts will be held at the Concert Hall of
Maimonides State Classical Academy in Peredelkino Residence.
Address: 7th Lazenky str., 14. The concerts start at 7.30 p.m.
Competition Conditions:
The Competition is open to contestants who will be ages 15 through 30 (age will be
defined on 27 April, 2015).
The entrance fee is 3000 rubles (around 60 euros, to be paid after the arrival at the
competition during the registration procedure).
Accommodation, meals and travel expenses are the responsibility of contestants (or
sponsoring organization).
Competition audition will be held at the Concert Hall of Maimonides State Classical
Academy in Peredelkino Residence. Participants may stay in double rooms or triple
rooms at Peredelkino Residence and it will cost 1200 rubles (round 25 euros) for one
night (including three meals).
Application forms must be sent until 31 of March 2015 inclusive.

The application form should be sent as an attached file in Word in *doc or rtf file
extension. In addition to the application form the letter should include:
1. a scanned copy of a passport with the date of birth of a participant;
2. a photo of the competitor with a guitar. The photo with a guitar will be published
in the competition booklet and should be with the resolution not less than 500 dpi.
The application form, a photo with a guitar and a copy of a passport should be
forwarded to: competition@gka.ru
Number of competitors is limited (50 guitarists), that’s why we ask you to send your
application, copy of your passport and photo as soon as possible.
