19,000 girls, parents and Chicago-area runners will cross the finish line this spring at the
Squeez’d Girls on the Run 5k Series Presented by Mariano’s. The 5K series is the culminating
achievement for thousands of girls graduating from the 12-week Girls on the Run training
program that will take place in more than 350 schools and community sites across Chicagoland.
Sponsors have the option to sponsor the entire series or one
individual race.
As an individual race sponsor you may receive:
• Your company’s name and/or logo on event collateral which may include
promotional flyers, e-blasts, the GOTRC website, Facebook, Twitter, the GOTRC
blog, t-shirts, signage and more.
• The opportunity to host a tent on 5K day to promote your business, support
the runners or sell your product(s).
As a series sponsor you may receive the benefits noted above as well as the
following:
• Access to more than 19,000 participants in the Spring 2015 5K series including
program participants ages 8-14, parents, corporate partners, and members of
the Chicagoland running community.
• Exposure in press releases, race advertisements and PSAs.

GIRLS
ON THE
RUN
Girls on the Run-Chicago is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit after-school program that uses
the power of running to educate and prepare 3rd-8th grade girls for a lifetime of selfrespect and healthy living. The innovative program combines training for a 5K event
with interactive lessons that encourage positive emotional, social, mental, and physical development. Over the past 12 years, Girls on the Run– Chicago has served more
than 50,000 young girls across six Chicagoland counties. This year, more than 1,000
coaches will mentor 9,500 girls – empowering them with the confidence and character they need to become strong, healthy women.
