In the First Quarter of 2015, the Greater West Bloomfield Cable Communications Commission
dealt with a number of issues.
• Civic Center TV programming
• election of officers
• transfer of cable television franchises
• Sunshine Week
• dissolution of select committee
CIVIC CENTER TV PROGRAMMING
At its meetings in the 1st Quarter, the Commission received reports regarding programming
produced for cablecast on Civic Center TV.

ELECTION OF OFFICERS
At its January meeting, the Commission elected its officers for 2015: Harvey Gersin of West
Bloomfield as Chairperson, Preston Wertheimer of Sylvan Lake as Vice-Chairperson, Anne
Dziuba of Orchard Lake as Secretary, and Michael Grogan of Keego Harbor as Treasurer.
TRANSFER OF CABLE TELEVISION FRANCHISES
At its January meeting, the Commission adopted a “Resolution Granting Consent to the Transfer
of Control of the Cable Television System” and recommended that it by adopted by the four
communities.
SUNSHINE WEEK
At its February meeting, the Commission adopted a “Resolution in Support of Sunshine Week
2015”, including a recommendation that the resolution be adopted by the four communities in
support of open and transparent government.
DISSOLUTION OF SELECT COMMITTEE
At its February meeting, the Commission, all construction having been completed at Green
Media Center, dissolved its Select Committee on the Civic Center TV Facility.
