SELL US YUR GEAR! We pay you on the spot for guitars, amps, drums, pro sound, band instruments and more. The Process WHAT MAKES US UNIQUE? We Buy Used Instruments All Day Every Day: Every day we buy gear from our customers. We never have too much used gear and we will never turn away a customer wishing to sell us gear. This means you will always have a reliable outlet for your used gear and you will always pay substantially less for an instrument at Music Go Round than you would at a new instrument store. We Are Not Beholden to Suppliers: While we sell products from every major manufacturer, we are beholden to none. This means that we do not need to sell a particular item in order to receive shipments of a different item. We are 100% focused on what our customers need and what we have in stock to meet that need. We Are a 35+ Store Cooperative: There are 35 independent Music Go Round owners that collectively comprise the largest used musical instrument retail outlet in the United States. We move instruments around the country with ease to get the right gear to the right customer at the right location at the lowest cost. We Are a Local Business With National Buying Power: We have relationships with over 2 dozen musical instrument manufacturers and distributors that provide Music Go Round with new accessories. All of our used stringed instruments are restrung with D’Addario strings. Vic Furth manufactures Music Go Round brand drum sticks and Rapco-Horizon manufactures a full line of instrument and speaker cable carrying the Music Go Round name. We appraise your gear while you wait We compare your gear to the $30 million of gear that has transacted through the Music Go Round system in the past year. We tell you what we would retail the gear for and offer you a percentage of that retail price. Requirements You must be 18 or older to sell us gear. You must own the gear you are selling and present a government issued ID such as a driver's license. We buy products in all conditions, but to get the most out of your sell or trade, make sure your product is in good working condition. What About Trade ins? We love trades! We always offer more in merchandise or store credit when you trade gear than when you sell outright. In addition, you don’t pay sales taxes on the trade value. So trading greatly reduces your total purchase price. How Does Test-To-Buy Work? If the store is very busy or the gear you are selling/trading requires a more thorough assessment than we can do while you wait, you may leave your gear with us while we complete the appraisal. We provide you a receipt and call you when the assessment is complete. We Are a Full-service Music Store: In addition to instruments and music gear, we operate a multiinstrument repair facility and we offer music lessons right on premises. SCHOOL PROGRAMS We offer an economical alternative to instrument rental. Many of our instruments can be purchased for about the cost one would otherwise pay to rent the same quality instrument for one year. It is often the case that an instrument owned by a child is an instrument better cared for. And purchasing an instrument is simple; there are no complicated contracts or monthly fees; it is your instrument. Buying From Our 35 Store Network – We will gladly obtain for you any gear you find on-line at any Music Go Round store. The customer pays the shipping charge on the gear received, *“As-Is” – From time to time we buy gear that cannot be repaired cost-effectively, but still is of value to the right customer. This gear is labeled “as-is” and is not eligible for the purchase protection policies above. LayawayLayaway is offered for customers prepared to make a purchasing commitment but unable to pay the full amount. Layaways require a 20% non-refundable downpaymet and must be paid in full within 60 days. Our mission is to build a thriving center for buying, selling, trading, repairing and learning to play musical instruments. We are dedicated to finding the right gear for each customer at the lowest possible price. We treat every customer with the utmost respect regardless of musical knowledge or talent. .
