For instance, when you send a message through our contact feature, we collect your name, mailing address, phone number, and email address for the purpose of responding to requests for information and inquiries involving our services. In order to make a donation, your payment data will be handled by the Bank of America Merchant Services secure Merchant Processing website. In addition, HSLF may collect information you share and post (including communications, suggestions, concerns, experiences or ideas) using the blog on the Website. Data Collected Through Cookies and Similar Technologies. A cookie is a small string of information that the Website you visit transfers to your computer for identification purposes. You can turn off all cookies, in case you prefer not to receive them. You can also have your computer warn you whenever cookies are being used. For both options you have to adjust your browser settings. This website does not use cookies. Financial Information. HSLF is a Nonprofit Public Benefit Corporation. You can make a monetary donation via the Website or mail. All electronic monetary donations are completed through Bank of America Merchant Services, which is a third party site not owned or maintained by HSLF. HSLF does not retain any of your financial information. Upon making a donation HSLF will only receive your name, e-mail address, and the amount of the donation. 3. Our Use of Information We Collect Personal Information. We use your personal information that you enter into our Website through the contact feature or the blog primarily for community development, such as collecting insight and providing information to you. You may access and browse the website without providing personal information. We will not use your personally identifiable information, without prior consent, for any purpose other than that for which it is submitted. Stored Information. We store the information entered on the Website. This information is used to contact our users with information on Cerebral Palsy and strengthens the community that supports those diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy. Do Not Track. Some Internet browsers include the ability to transmit “Do Not Track” signals, which is a privacy preference that you can set in most web browsers. HSLF does not process or respond to “Do Not Track” signals. 4. By using HSLF, you are hereby agreeing to hold HSLF harmless for any issues or damages that may arise from the actions of Bank of America Merchant Services. 5. We cannot control how third parties may use personal information you disclose to them. We are not responsible for the manner of use or misuse of information that you disclose. 6.
