LI Drug Reclamation Forum
Monday, March 30th, 2:00 pm
Heroin and prescription drugs continue to take a
devastating toll on Long Island. One of the best
tools in prevention is our drug reclamation
programs, including Shed the Meds, Take Backs or
Med Drop-off days. As part of that effort, we are
hosting a forum on drug reclamation programs. We urge all who are
active or just interested in these programs, to join us.
What:

Long Island wide Drug Reclamation Forum
Police departments, community-based organizations, schools, hospitals,
government officials and concerned citizens
Why:
To meet and exchange ideas with reclamation groups from Long Island
When: 2:00 pm – 4:00 pm on Monday March 30th, 2015
Where: Molloy College Farmingdale Campus , 7180 Republic Airport, Republic
Airport, East Farmingdale, NY 11735
Agenda items:
Update each other on respective activities
Discuss common problems and/or obstacles
Prepare for future national take back events
Share relevant resources and materials
Respond to the demise of the DEA national take back
Promote the new pharmacy take back laws
