& 11:25 AM
At 5:00 PM
Pastor John W. Minnema
Pastor Jake Minnema
Welcome to Hawthorne Gospel Church!
We are glad you are here to worship with
us. If you are new today or looking to connect, please fill out the yellow welcome card located in the back of
the pew in front of you and hand it to a Connector at the Discovery
Center for a small gift and for some helpful information about our
church. Please join us between services in the Pavilion for a time of
fellowship and coffee — you also will be able to obtain more information about our upcoming events there!
Welcome
Baby Dedication: At the 11:25 AM
service, Addison Margaret will be dedicated
to the Lord by her parents, Nicholas and
Christine Sinato.
Celebration
& Praise!
Dear Pastor John:
Hilda and I rejoice with each of you of the Hawthorne Gospel
Church for 90 years of Christ-honoring ministry (all praise to God).
Pastor Braunlin often reminded us, GOD has yet greater things for HIS
people. It is awesome to know that we are laborers together with GOD
(1st Corinthians 3:9 KJV).
With our best wishes and prayers,
George & Hilda Sweeting, Psalm 115:1

. . . a vision for the generations!
The God-ordained principle of sowing and reaping (2nd Corinthians 9:6) has
been demonstrated time and again over the past 90 years here at
Hawthorne Gospel Church. Those who have gone before us have
sowed generously and we now are reaping the plentiful harvest. We
are seeing our magnificent campus used extensively for the glory of
God on a daily basis, and souls from all generations are coming to a
saving knowledge of Jesus Christ.
In September, we will ask you to prayerfully consider your involvement in the vision God has placed on our hearts to continue to more
effectively worship, connect, grow, and serve, reaching out to a world
in need of the Savior. Please begin praying now about how God
would have you be part of this vision for the generations.
nd
PLEASE READ 2 Corinthians 9:6-15!
And God is able to make ALL grace abound to you,
so that in ALL things at ALL times having ALL that you need,
you will abound in EVERY good work (2nd Corinthians 9:8).

living on the streets and gave him a ministry that has brought thousands of people to the Lord. He has a passion to see others come
