Fees are $80 for the Hokie Half Marathon with a Half Marathon
No-Frills option for $65, and $25 for the Hokie 5K. Regular
entry fee includes bus transportation to and from the start/
the VT Corporate Research Center at 1701 Kraft Drive, Blacksburg,
VA 24060.

Marathon is limited to 3,000 participants and the Hokie 5k is
limited to 1,000 participants. Registration fees increase
August 8th and September 19th for all three race options. Fees
are non-refundable.

OVERALL AWARDS
Online registration closes on Wednesday, September 16, 2014 at
midnight. Registration forms will be accepted until the close of
packet pick-up at on 9/19/15 at the race expo. Registration
will not be permitted the day of the race. Once registration for
the half marathon meets 3,000 participants, registration will be
closed.
Hokie Half Marathon overall male and females: $500 for 1st place;
$300 for 2nd place; $200 for 3rd place.
HALF MARATHON AWARDS
PICK-UP POLICY
18, 19-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64,
65-69, 70-74, 75-over. No ceremony will take place for age group
awards. Age group awards will be mailed once results are finalized.
Pick-up offered on race day will be VERY LIMITIED. Saturday 9/19:
Saturday 9/19: Packet pick-up from noon to 9 p.m. at the race expo
(location TBD). You are allowed to pick up a friend’s packet as long
as you have a note from the individual to do so and a copy of a
photo ID with his/her name. A photo ID is required for everyone
picking up a packet.
HOKIE 5K AWARDS
The top three in each age group will receive a HokieBird medal:
8 & under, 9–12, 13–17, 18–23, 24–29, 30–34, 35–39, 40–44,
45–49, 50–54, 55–59, 60–64, 65–69, 70 & over.
COURSE CLOSES AT 11:00 A.M.
The Hokie Half Marathon has a four-hour time limit for
participants. The course will close after 4 hours (about 18:20 pace
per mile). Those still on the course will be asked to board the bus
