Event Rules Neither the organisers, landowner, nor any person acting on their behalf accept liability for any loss, damage, accident or illness affecting any person, animal or property whatsoever. It should be considered a condition of entry that each competitor and spectator shall indemnify the organisers or any person acting on their behalf against legal action arising from accident or incident. The judges’ decision is final. Objections must be made in writing and accompanied by £20 deposit within 20 minutes of the results being displayed. The deposit will be refunded only if the objection is sustained. A safety helmet or riding hat, to current standards and with the chinstrap fastened, must be worn at all times when mounted. The organisers recommend that riders wear appropriate body protectors No horse or pony may be ridden more than once in a class. Numbers must not be obscured by hair or clothing. Any person eliminated may continue, unless directed otherwise by a judge or steward, but must give way to all competitors. The organisers reserve the right to alter or cancel any class and to refuse entry to any class or to the grounds. The organisers reserve the right to reduce the prize money and rosettes in the event of low entries to any class. Entries will be accepted on the day, subject to space, at a surcharge of £5 per horse/rider combination. Competitors are responsible for contacting the secretary if there is any doubt about the event taking place due to adverse weather or ground conditions. No entry fees will be refunded without a valid veterinary or medical certificate unless the event should be cancelled, in which case entry fees will be refunded. A 10% admin fee will be deducted from all entry fees refunded under these terms. All rubbish to be taken home or placed in the litter bins provided.
