Burhnam, Joe & Mabel Kayser, James Kayser, Sandra Kayer, —Fr. Michael R. Schneider, Pastor Nicole Fuhrer, Development Director Our Catholic Schools were blessed for many years with “Living Endowments” of sisters, priests, and brothers. Through their lifelong service and contributions, they endowed our Catholic Schools. Today Catholic Schools are challenged to provide even greater educational and ministerial programs than ever before with annual budgets growing larger and larger. Meeting these needs requires financial resources. The future of Catholic Education in Mitchell lies in the building of endowments through planned giving strategies. Planned giving will give us confidence for the future of our John Paul II School, Faith Formation Programs, and Parishes. Endowments and major gifts through planned giving will build up our “savings accounts” to sustain these opportunities for generations to come. Development is a ministry. I am here to help you create a stewardship plan to share the treasures in which God has provided. Chad Haag Family Benefit Breakfast, sponsored by the Knights of Columbus, to be held on Sunday, April 19, 9am-12:30pm, in JPII Gym. The Haag Family lost their home to a fire last December. A Family Perspective by Bud Ozar: That first Easter morning was confusing. Jesus was missing and Mary Magdalene, Peter, and John “did not know” what to do. In family life there are confusing moments when “we don’t know” what to do. Like the apostles, we are Easter people when we believe and trust in each other even when all seems lost.
