It is clear nurse leaders must be at the table and positioned to assure safe, quality, and cost-efficient care for the future of health care. The Department of Nursing at Moravian College offers the Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) degree to prepare Nurse Administrators. The program is a 36-credit program, that includes 12 credits of general and core courses that are shared with other graduate nursing programs. In addition, there are 24 credits of specialty courses in nursing, management, and leadership, including a clinical internship for nurse administrators in the final semester of study. Each student completes an individualized internship in the final semester of study, with 150 practicum hours with nurse administrator preceptors. CURRICULUM ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS Students complete four general courses as well as specialized requirements of their chosen concentration.
