HX360 WELCOMES STRATEGIC AFFILIATES -- LEADING HEALTHCARE, INVESTMENT AND
HEALTH TECH ORGANIZATIONS -- SUPPORTING COLLABORATIVE APPROACH TO INNOVATION
April 13-15, 2015 at HIMSS15, McCormick Place in Chicago -- Registration Open
Arlington, VA (April 7, 2015) – Leading healthcare, investment and technology organizations have joined
the inaugural HX360 event as Strategic Affiliates, delivering thought leadership, dynamic content and
speakers to the program. HX360 is focused on advancing the use of health technology innovations that
improve clinical workflow, care coordination and patient experience, and foster collaborations to
improve development and adoption of novel health technologies. HX360, convening healthcare
providers, investors, entrepreneurs, developers and other stakeholders, takes place April 13-15, at the
2015 HIMSS Annual Conference & Exhibition, McCormick Place in Chicago.

Steven Collens, CEO of MATTER, will open HX360 with a keynote address, as well as moderate a panel
on innovation. Representatives from other Strategic Affiliates, including Center for Healthcare
Innovation, Health Data Consortium, HealthXL, HealthTech Capital, New York eHealth Collaborative
and MEMS Industry Group will moderate expert panels covering such topics as mobilizing provider
communication, patient engagement, disease management for aging populations, adopting
technologies in health systems, investor strategies and sensing technologies.
In addition, StartUp Health is presenting at the HIMSS Venture+ Forum and co-hosting the Startup Boot
Camp, an intensive, hands-on event for entrepreneurs featuring strategies for building a successful business,
perfecting a 59-second company pitch and gaining tips for increasing the equity value of a startup.

HX360 is a new initiative co-developed by HIMSS and AVIA, putting a spotlight on the adoption and
implementation of next generation (non-EHR) technologies. HX360 is focused on improving care
delivery, optimizing the innovation cycle in health technology, value creation and advancing the
processes health systems will require to leverage novel technologies. HX360 speakers, exhibits and
special events will highlight health technologies that aim to improve provider efficiencies and clinical
workflow, patient experience, care coordination for disease and patient retention and acquisition.
