“We are delighted to have a Scientific Committee of international
experts, co-chaired by Professor Deborah Ashby and Professor Peter
Langhorne, working on the conference programme. We will spotlight
work at the leading edge of methodology research, showing how this
can be applied in the routine practice of trials in health and social care.
We are proud to be in Glasgow, the city that hosted the 2014
Commonwealth Games, and well known for its willingness to do the
"heavy lifting" needed to achieve success. We will draw on this
inspiration in preparing the scientific and social aspects of the
conference and look forward to welcoming hundreds of delegates to
Glasgow, Scotland and the north”.
