OF THE EXPORT PROMOTION PROGRAMME
Romanian economic operators, legal entities, fulfilling the following eligibility criteria:
registered under the Company Law 31/1990;
not received in the last 2 fiscal years and the current year minimis aid exceeding the
RON equivalent of EUR 200,000;
not in enforcement proceedings, bankruptcy, dissolution, liquidation, etc.
not have debts to the state budget and local budgets;
are not considered firms in difficulty;
carries out export operations;
export classification corresponds to the event organized abroad;
have positive results on the effectiveness of participation in the previous events .

Participation of the Romanian economic operators
in the international fairs and exhibitions abroad is
performed accordingly to the National Export
Strategy of Romania and is focused on organizing
national pavilions, stands or mini-exhibitions
specialized on products and services. The annual
program is developed by the Ministry of Economy,
Trade and Tourism in partnership with the
professional associations structures and approved
by the Export Council.

• Annually are organized around 60 such specialized international fairs (Hannover
Messe - Industrial, Cebit - IT, Vinexpo - wine, IMM Cologne - furniture, Pret a Porter
Paris– textiles and clothing, Cologne Anuga - food, etc.).

The main targets of organizing the economic
missions abroad are to identify the business
opportunities, seize and enhance the economic
cooperation with foreign partners;
•
Action to promote exports are referring to
product presentations, mini-exhibitions, business
meetings, seminars and economic & investment
days organized in those markets of interest for
the Romanian exporters.

These actions are performed based on the
proposals and requests came from the
business associative structures, who are cofinancing 50% of the studies;
The allocated funds from the state budget for
this instrument, administrated by the Ministry
of Economy, Trade and Tourism, represent
the minimis aid for the beneficiary companies
and the eligibility criteria are similar to those
for fairs and exhibition and economic
missions abroad.

Romanian foreign trade portal is a tool
endorsed in the National Export Strategy of
Romania for the period 2014-2020;
•
All interested economic operators can access
freely the information on the trade portal;
•
The portal contains information regarding the
business
opportunities,
international
bids,
commercial news, country commercial guides etc,
including the promotion export program managed
by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Tourism.
