Originally hailing from the United Kingdom, Robin migrated to the United States in 1996 and gained official citizenship in 2011. He is an active competitor at the 3* level in Eventing, as well as at the Grand Prix level in Show Jumping. Robin is a strong believer in educating the next generation of equestrians and was one of the founding forces of the USEA’s Instructor Certification Program (ICP), which he currently serves as both a faculty member and assessor for the program. In addition, Robin sits on the Future Event Horse (FEH) Committee and served as the 2013 Area VIII Young Rider Coach. He runs a sporthorse breeding and training program out of his home base, Maute House Farm, in Grass Lake, MI and can often be seen riding a multitude of horses and coaching at Area VIII events. IEA is proud to bring in such a strong force for the future of our sport, both at the area level and national level, as our summer 2015 clinician. Please join us for a fun-filled weekend of learning! Participants are encouraged to bring additional snacks & refreshments.
