Using the Chair Cover
Aggressive, salty liquids
can adversely affect your
surgery chair on a longterm basis. We recommend our chair cover.
By using our chair cover,
your surgery chair and its
moving parts are perfectly
protected.
1) Place the chair cover with the marked
arrow upwards in the middle of the chair.
2) Fold back first on the
left, then repeatable from
inside to outside.
UFSK-OSYS
3) Put the hood over the head part.
13
4) Hang both side lashes into the rails at the
side of the chair.
5) Pull the cover completely down.
6) The intended openings are to be put over
the sliding handles.
7) A perfect chair cover that does not slip
and protects the chair of liquids and contamination.

Programming the memory hand
control
The four memory buttons (I-IV) are supposed to be for different memory positions.
The following positions are
pre-programmed:
I=transport position
II=anaesthesia position
III=OR position
IV= alternative OR position
Keep the button pressed until the final position is reached.
It is possible at each time to change the
complete memory position or just single
functions of it.
Keep the desired MEMORY (I-IV) pressed
and, at the same time, press the function
that has to be changed (e.g. seat down) until
the desired position is reached. Release the
button.
The hand control automatically saves the

same.

Using the armrests
The armrest can steplessly be adjusted from one fixing point for each patient. Focussed is the
comfort for the patient and space advantage for the operating doctor. The Chrome-Nickel-Steel
mounting clamp is generally fixed at the shoulder part side rail.
The Chrome-Nickel-Steel bar is fixed in the mounting clamp from the underside and fixed
slightly. The sticking device of the armrest has always to be in direction of the user.
By loosening the turning device, the armrest
can be moved in length.

Unpacking
The UFSK-OSYS surgery chairs are packed solid, safe and
stable for worldwide shipping.

27
Loading the batteries
The chair has integrated accumulators for working without direct
power supply.
The chair has an optical loading control on the hand keyboard (five
green LEDs). When the chair is fully loaded, all LEDs light green.
The LEDs turn off one after another the more the chair is used. The
chair has to be loaded regularly.
Open the cover of the socket with your left hand. At the same time, connect the plug with the
charge jack accordingly. Now the plug has to be connected with a conventional socket.
Prove at the green control lamp if the chair is loaded.
600 XLE
28
Optimum Loading
The accumulators are made of lead-gel and do not show a memory effect anymore.
The hand control unit has a loading control lamp. If all five green diodes light up, the
accumulators are loaded up 100%.
The chair should be loaded again when at least three diodes
do not light up anymore. Please note that loading has been
completely finished before working with the chair starts again.
Loading is made with increased loading power for fast loading. An additional control unit protects the accumulators of
overloading, nevertheless, cannot guarantee the prevention
from overloading.
A total loading circle takes generally 8 hours.
The loading circle should not extend 12 to 15 hours as too long loading can damage the accumulators in the long run despite overloading protection.
