Information on the 3 programs
These programs allow students with any educational background to focus on accomplishing their
professional goals in highly creative sectors: fashion, luxury, accessories (leatherwork, shoes, watchmaking, and sun glasses), perfume and cosmetic, and interior design.

The certificates awarded are registered at the Répertoire National des Certifications
Professionnelles (RNCP)1, Niveau 1 (Master)
In Fashion Management (not creation or design)
These certificates give students the Autorisation Provisoire de Séjour (APS)
l’Institut Français de la Mode and La Fabrique are both recognized by the State, and the
Fashion and Luxury industries
Students are coached and guided in their search for internships
2 schools that are recognized by the Fashion and Luxury industry:

La Fabrique is a member school of the Chambre de commerce et d’industrie de Paris Ile-deFrance. It is recognized by the textile and clothing industry, and aims to educate their
students by giving them both technical and managerial skills. La Fabrique graduates take up
positions such as Product Managers, Collection Managers, Production Managers, Quality
Managers, Purchasing, and Sourcing.

The Institut Français de la Mode was founded in 1986 by industry professionals with the help
of the Ministère chargé de l’Industrie. It is also a member of the Conférence des Grandes
Ecoles (CGE). In 2014, 16 companies and company foundations supported the IFM. The IFM
graduates take up positions in Brand and Creation Management, Communication, Media, and
Retail.

Program 1 : Programme Manager-développeur produit de la mode et de l’habillement (La
Fabrique)

Program 2: Postgraduate degree in Fashion, Design and Luxury Management (IFM)

Program duration: 16 months (10 months of classes, 6 months of internship)

Course content :
• Fashion, luxury, design, perfume and cosmetic sector fundamentals courses
• Elective courses (brand analysis, business and brand creation…)
• Workshops in partnership with other schools (ESCP Europe, Ferrandi…)
• Course trips to the London College of Fashion, to Bocconi in Milan, to l’ISEM in Madrid
(courses and business visits)

Final interview with the member school
Scholarship opportunities (CROUS, Fondation d’entreprises …). 40% of the IFM students have
scholarships.
