Indonesia Telkom Sigma public cloud —

Business Challenge
Telkom is the largest state-owned fixed network carrier in Indonesia. Sigma is a
subsidiary of Telkom that is in charge of new services such as cloud computing.
The existing platform are incompatible with the devices of other vendors and
cannot connect to the existing system.
There are few types of services, which cannot meet customers' requirements.
Huawei Solution
The cloud IDC solution is based on the Internet architecture. Its flattened
architecture supports smooth service expansion in the next five years, and the
distributed architecture improves the resource utilization by three times.
More than 10 cloud service packages are provided based on various customers,
and diversified value-added services are provided using fixed network advantages.

Public cloud IDC for PCCW (HK)
Challenges
PCCW is the largest telecom carrier in Hong Kong. This project aims to
set up the best public cloud platform in the Asia-Pacific region to provide
services for enterprise customers in this region. Requirements for this
project are as follows:

The cloud IDC must support cross-region cloud services between
Mainland China, Hong Kong, and Singapore, and must provide
charging modes for service roaming between carriers.

The project can be used to explore the business mode that consists
of small-scale construction and cooperation with third parties.
Solution
Project keywords: cross-domain unified management,
cooperative operation
Phase 1: A resource pool that supports 100 cloud hosts and
200 cloud desktops is constructed for attracting customers in
Mainland China, Hong Kong, and Singapore.
Phase 2: Huawei collaborates with other providers to
establish the SaaS platform and build node platforms in
Shanghai, Beijing, and Guangdong, and cooperates with
StarHub for cloud services.

of Unicom and reserve interfaces for interconnecting multiple DCs.
