Start Up! 23rd - 30th of April, 2015 Slettestrand, Denmark CALL FOR PARTICIPANTS InterStep is looking for participants for the Contact Making Event ”Start Up!” from Turkey, Portugal, Poland, Spain, Italy, United Kingdom, Romania, Georgia, Serbia, Ukraine, Former Yugoslav Rep., Hungary, Armenia, Egypt, Bulgaria, Tunisia, Morocco and Moldova. Summary The project is a 6-days, excluding travel days, Contact Making Event which takes place in Slettestrand, Denmark. The Contact Making Event gathers 46 participants from 23 organizations from all over Europe, and will take place from 23rd – 30th April 2015 ( with 23rd the arrival day and the 30th- the departure day). The theme of the Contact Making Event is entrepreneurship and it aims at strengthening the partnership between the participating organizations in order to promote entrepreneurship among young people. The Objectives of the Contact Making Event are: To strengthen the partnershipbetweenyouth organizations aiming to promote entrepreneurshipamongyoungpeople To gatherbestpractises in promotingentrepreneurship an entrepreneurialthinking To buildcapacity of youth organizations to use Erasmus+ in promotingentrepreneurshipamongyoungpeople To create new projectswithin the Erasmus+ to promote entrepreneurshipamongyoungpeople The Contact Making Eventwill be conducted in English and translation will not be provided. Hence, the participants are expected to have a good level of English, both written and spoken. Participants profile In order to be an eligible participant in this Contact Making Event you should fulfil the criteria listed below: Be a manager or youth leader within the partner organization; Have previous experience in promoting entrepreneurship among young people; Be above 20 years old; Have a good conduct of English; Be able to attend the entire Contact Making Event. Candidates who do not fulfil the requirements will not be accepted. Application procedure Candidates are required to fill in the application form link:http://intercollege.info/participants/open-calls/application-form-start-up. at the following Should more there be more applications than available places, the sending organization will nominate their participants. The final confirmation will be made by InterStep. The deadline for application is February 27th, 16:00. The selection results will be announced on March 4th. Within 5 days after the results are announced, the selected participants must confirm their participation with a copy of their ticket. The tickets must be sent to ana@intercollege.info. Financial conditions The travel budget per participant for this project is as follows: Turkey: 360€ Portugal: 360€ Poland: 275€ Spain: 360€ Italy: 275€ United Kingdom: 275€ Romania: 275€ Greece: 360€ Jordan: 530€ Serbia: 275€ Ukraine: 275€ Former Yugoslav Rep.: 275€ Hungary: 275€ Armenia: 530€ Egypt: 530€ Bulgaria: 275€ Tunisia: 360€ Morocco: 530€ Moldova: 275€ If the travel expenses exceed the budget allocated, the participants are required to cover the extra costs themselves. The travel reimbursement will be made by bank transfer after the Contact Making Event and within 45 days after the original travel documents have been received by the organizers. Participation in this Contact Making Event is free of charge. Food and accommodation is fully covered from the grant received from European Commission. Insurance The participants are responsible to make their own insurance covering them for the whole duration of the Contact Making Event.
