GEAR UP FOR THE CHALLENGE
AND SMART COMMUTE 2015
JUNE 1st through June 4th
So how does Commuter Cup Challenge Work?
Rules
On each of the four days of Commuter Cup Challenge (June 1, 2, 3 and 4) the team captain will
be required to log those employees who smart commute each day, a team log is attached. Smart
commute means carpooled, using transit, walked or biked for either their entire commute or even
part of their commute. The team captain will also report how many employees were at the office
for the day. The percentage of employees who smart commuted will be tallied for each day and
then an overall tally for the four days will be computed to determine overall winners.
The team captain is asked to report these numbers by 10:00 a.m. to Jeff Winegard at Top of
Michigan Trails Council by email, ed@trailscouncil.org or phone 348-8280. There will be daily
updates on the current leaders of the Commuter Cup as well as daily winners on the website and in
the Petoskey News-Review.
Team Awards
 1st place trophy for each overall division winner will be calculated by the total percentage of
employees smart commuting (total smart commuters added up for each day divided by the
total employees for each day).
 There will also be daily team winners announced, each team member smart commuting on
that day will be given a prize which can be picked up at the Awards Lunch.
