OFFICIAL ENTRY FORM FOR THE IVVCC SPRING RALLY 18th and 19th April, 2015 IVVCC SPRING RALLY 2015 The 2015 IVVCC Spring Rally will be another wonderful opportunity to enjoy the countryside in the company of fellow enthusiasts. This year we plan to provide an event that is open to members of both the IVVCC and our affiliate clubs and will cater for all classes of cars eligible for IVVCC events. On the Saturday morning, the 18th April, registration will commence at the Killashee House Hotel at 10.00 a.m. Tea/Coffee/Scones will be provided during the registration process in the Rathasker Suite. The rally will commence at 11.00 a.m. travelling through the springtime countryside of Kildare, Offaly and Laois, with a specified lunch break of soup and sandwiches. We will visit a local area of interest and then continue with a scenic drive to arrive at the Seven Oaks Hotel in Carlow in time for a cup of tea / coffee prior to a drinks reception, dinner, bed and breakfast. This will give everybody attending the event a chance to meet over lunch and dinner. Members will be able to join the route at our lunch stop, if they wish to do so. Following breakfast on Sunday morning we will depart for another scenic drive which will meander through lesser known areas of Carlow, Wicklow and Kildare, with a planned coffee stop enroute, to arrive at the Killshee House Hotel for lunch at approximately 2.30 p.m., followed by prize giving. We encourage as many people as possible to take their cars out as we have negotiated a great all inclusive price for the event. It will be possible to trailer cars to Killashee which will suit the veteran and vintage vehicles. We have also had interest from a number of our affiliate clubs to participate and look forward to seeing everybody in Carlow on the 18th April. As there are a limited number of bedrooms available at the hotel, early entry is advised as the indications are that, as this will be our first run of the year, it will be a very popular rally. For our prize giving, each driver will be issued with voting slips to decide on which cars they would most like to take home in each of the following categories : Class A: pre 1931 Class B: 1931 to 1945 Class C: 1946 to 1968 Class D: 1969 to 1985 Finbarr Corry Award - Best ZV registered car as decided by the competitors.
