JOB DESCRIPTION Job Title This JD was last updated on MANAGER GLOBAL OUTREACH TOOLS 25th March 2015 Job Purpose To assist in the development of Save the Dream’s initiatives and management of tools in the field of global outreach and dialogue, with a main focus on communications and awareness activities. Organisational Relationships Direct Supervisor: Head of Global Outreach Responsible for: None Authorities Authorised to take decisions within the scope of responsibilities to assist in the successful and smooth implementation of Save the Dream activities and management of tools in the field of global outreach. Number of Years of Experience: A minimum of 5 years’ experience in outreach projects and/or public relations, and in the management of relevant communication tools in a multicultural environment. Media experience or journalism desirable. Previous experience in programmes addressed to youth would be an asset. Specialized Training Required (if any): N/A Languages: English (native speaker) and a second language required. Knowledge of a third language is an asset. Soft Skill Requirements: Excellent public relations, communication and writing skills. Ability to work and relate with people from different backgrounds and cultures. Good management and organisational skills. IT Skill Requirements: Proficiency in MS Office applications. Familiarity in managing and updating websites, managing social media, using intranet systems and other information sharing tools. Capacity to work with popular software including Adobe suite. Basic knowledge of HTML would be an advantage.
