TANDEM CLASSES All instructors Grades PreK and K ages 3-8 The Tandem Classes are introductory level sessions that give beginners the opportunity to explore an instrument. We team up two children of similar ages (perfect for siblings or best friends) to introduce your instrument of choice in a simple yet exciting way. Tandem Classes are given for: Piano, drum set, guitar, flute, sax, clarinet, trumpet and voice. It is fun to start a new journey together with your BFF Call in for individual scheduling Electric Rock & Pop Band Lawrence Pi Grades 6-10 This class is for the electric musician and singer who wants to play/sing their favorite Rock/Pop song and create a cool band atmosphere, practicing like a professional band. If you want to experiment with Electric/acoustic guitar, bass, keyboard/piano, drums, vocals, this is your class! Playing drums together is one of the most exciting and unifying musical experiences. Come and be part of this cool course led by Makinto, and feel the rhythm pulsing through your hands and spirit. Our Intermediate Jazz program ( Middle school) is preparing students for High school Jazz Band, and we have graduates of our program in famous schools like Orange County High school of Arts winning awards. Our Introductory program is ideal for the total beginner who has never played Jazz to explore the fascinating world of Jazz, Blues, Rock and improvisation. Course 1: Starter, ages 7-11 Wednesday 2:30-3:30 ( Shaun Whited) Course 2: Intermediate acoustic & electric Wednesday 4-5 pm ( Shaun Whited) Never played guitar, always wanted to strum a song or learn your favorite tune? The guitar starter course is the perfect introduction into the wonderful world of playing guitar. Foundational chords, easy strumming and picking techniques will allow your child to rapidly enjoy playing easy songs out of a broad variety of song repertoire. It is preferable to own your own guitar, but loaner guitars are available.
