Erin Lavelle – SVP Finance at Mesirow Financial
Erin Lavelle, MBA, FP&A, is Senior Vice President – Finance for Mesirow Financial, a financial services
company headquartered in Chicago, Illinois. In this role, she oversees Financial Planning & Analysis,
External & Internal Management Reporting and Business Intelligence as well as Payroll and Treasury
operations. Additional firmwide responsibilities include: acquisition/disposition analysis, product/
client risk exposure, incentive program design, compensation reporting and offer letter review. Ms.
Lavelle was recently selected into the pilot Mesirow Financial Professional Development program,
which was launched to identify and prepare the next generation of leaders at the firm and actively
participates on intradepartmental committees such as Mesirow Financial WomenConnect Associate
Group.
Formerly, she was Vice President of Portfolio Management – Auto Group with ABN AMRO Bank, N.V.
and held various financial positions in her six + years with GE Capital Services, Inc. Ms. Lavelle
received her MBA in International Business, with honors, from Kellstadt Graduate School of Business,
DePaul University, and her BBA in Finance/Business Economics from the University of Notre Dame. In
2014, she was in the inaugural class receiving the newly created FP&A certification and participates in
design and review for future exams.
For over 10 years she has been asked to speak about budgeting and planning best practices for
various Associations. She has been quoted in publications such as Wall Street & Technology
Magazine, on CFO.COM and in Business Finance Magazine among others. She also published in the
Secured Lender; “Defining the Risk in Healthcare Receivables.”
Johannes (Hannes) Hunschofsky – Executive VP Global Operations at Hoerbiger
Hannes Hunschofsky is Executive Vice President Global Operations in charge of the Business Division
Production of HOERBIGER Compression Technology Holding. In this position he is overseeing the
Global Operations of all twelve of HOERBIGER Compression Technology production plants in Asia,
Europe and the Americas, generating a production output of 320M Euro with 2,100 employees
worldwide.
Hannes joined HOERBIGER in 1999 and has more than 30 years of experience in leadership positions
in the Oil, Gas and Energy Markets both in Europe and the United States, with companies like GE
Jenbacher (former Jenbacher Energiesysteme AG) and August Storm.
Hannes is an active Board of Directors member for several state and national manufacturing advocacy
organizations, including the National Association of Manufacturers (NAM) in Washington, DC. Florida
Governor Rick Scott appointed Hannes as a member of the Florida Economic Development Team in
2010.
Hannes earned his B.Sc. in Industrial Engineering and Operations Management from the National
Polytechnic Institute in Innsbruck, Austria in 1980 and his MBA in Entrepreneurship and Marketing
from the University of Innsbruck in Innsbruck, Austria in 1987.

Anoop Tiwari is Senior Director, Strategy and Business Development at Cars.com where his team
focuses on long-term strategic planning, partnerships & alliances, M&A, competitive intelligence, and
internal research & analytics projects. Anoop completed MBA from Purdue University in 2005 and
prior to that, he worked in technology sales and business development in India. Anoop is a proud
technology & analytics geek and gets excited about its potential impact on business and delivering
value to customers and making things better. Anoop is passionate about internet and its impact on
business & society. Anoop has been active in working groups of various trade associations, sits on
advisory boards for a few start-ups, and supports a non-profit focused on children’s education. When

Alan Anderson – Director of FP&A at Experian Marketing Services
Alan is currently the Director of FP&A for Experian Marketing Services where he actively seeks and
delivers on finance efficiencies rather than organizational expansion to free up capacity for value-add
decision support. Prior to joining Experian as a Commercial Finance Manager on strategic initiatives
he developed broad experience across the finance function at Siemens Healthcare with roles in
Treasury, Corporate FP&A, and BU Finance. This 360° view of the finance function has created
opportunities for Alan to more easily identify finance process efficiencies, optimal organization design
as well as understand the ancillary costs and benefits of finance initiatives across a broad set of
stakeholders. Alan also holds an MBA from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business and
enjoys spending time with his wife and three children.
Brian McGill — Senior Principal Finance Manager at WMS Gaming
Brian McGill has over 15 years’ experience within various industries. Brian is currently leading the
WMS FP&A team, as it continues to integrate with Bally after a recent acquisition. Prior to WMs
Brian was the corporate controller of Millennium Pharmacy Systems, A long term care pharmacy
provider. Brian was responsible for strategic management of company’s cash flow and daily
operations as Millennium positioned fora sale or merger. Brian also has additional Pharmaceutical
experience at Walgreens and Astellas Parma. Brian also spent 6 years at Sammons Financial
Group and also was an auditor at a public accounting firm for 3 years, specializing in Hedger Funds
and Non-profits.
Jeffrey Bounds – Director of Finance at McGraw-Hill
Jeffrey Bounds is the Director of Finance in McGraw-Hill Education’s Higher Education Division. In this
role, Jeffrey provides direction for the Higher Education Division financial planning and forecasting,
including the short and long term strategic financial plan development.
Jeffrey has extensive finance, administration, and engineering experience in diverse industries including manufacturing, logistics, airline, and learning science. Jeffrey has the proven ability to improve operations, drive long term profitable growth by providing insightful analysis of investments and financial results and establishing key metrics while evaluating risks and opportunities that help set and support the business strategic direction. He has been instrumental throughout his career in designing executive and management financial reporting systems structure and tailored monthly financial reporting to estimate revenue and related expenses as well as identify areas of improvement in financial
performance across diverse functional areas.
Jeffrey is a United States Army Veteran and is described as practical and decisive, yet flexible. Jeffrey
earned in B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering from Arkansas State University in 1998 and his MBA in Finance from the University of Indianapolis in 2005.

integrating transactional banking across Asia-Pacific and Europe.
Kas is also a Visiting Professor at Southern Illinois University Public Sector Management, DeVry/Keller
Graduate School of Management and North Park University. She was a member of the North Park
University MBA Advisory Board from 2006 – 2009 and currently serves on the DeVry University Advisory
Board. Kas’ contribution at Aon Risk Services and dedication to education through various institutions was
recognized by the Institute of Management Accountants, naming her the recipient of ‘Financial Executive
of the Year Award 2006’ for the Mid-America region. Kas’ professional affiliations include Governmental
Finance Officers Association (GFOA), Association of Financial Professionals (AFP), and Treasury
Management Association of Chicago (TMAC); Civic affiliations include the Lion’s Club and Habitat for
Humanity. A Phi Theta Kappa Leadership Honor Society and International Public Safety Leadership Ethics
Institute (IPSLEI) Certified Ethical Leadership instructor, she currently serves as faculty member for AFP

facilitate the process of helping kids develop empowering identities. Kas is the recipient of the National
Lybrand Award for her contribution to the financial strategy literature in recognition of her cutting edge
