The match was a fine advert for Kent County League soccer. FA CHARTER STANDARD ANNUAL HEALTH CHECK DEADLINE A few Clubs have not completed the FA Charter Standard Annual Health Check. These MUST be returned to your County FA otherwise your retention in the League for season 2014/2015 will be in serious jeopardy. REPRESENTATIVE MATCH Despite a 1-0 defeat in our annual friendly match versus the Essex Olympian League last month, in which we fielded nine debutants in the starting line up, the performance of the lads was extremely encouraging and augers well for the future. SEASON 2015-2016 If any Club is seeking to change their ground for next season then the General Secretary MUST be notified without delay to enable a ground inspection to be undertaken. NEW APPLICATIONS Ten new Clubs have applied to join the main League. All of these grounds and facilities are in the process of being inspected prior to the Clubs being interviewed with subsequent recommendations being placed before the Annual General Meeting in June. PRESENTATION DINNER AND DANCE Tickets have now been distributed to all clubs and if your club has not received them please make contact with Gavin Hoare urgently. Social Committee Chairman, Peter Martin wishes to thank those that have confirmed they are donating a prize for the raffle but would welcome some more!! It is hoped that some of these awards will be presented at the League’s Annual Presentation Dinner on 13th June. The Club awards criteria being twenty years service with one Club whilst the Workforce awards are for any valuable contribution towards the running of your Club.
